Inspired Design.
In May 2011, Avalon Waterways unveiled the Avalon Panorama, the industry's FIRST "Suite Ship." Simply put, this Suite Ship redefines space: Space that was thoughtfully designed to enhance traveler comfort and views, while also bringing an indoor/outdoor living experience on board.
In addition to boasting 17 oaward-winning Avalon Deluxe Staterooms on the lower deck, the Panorama features 64 newly designed Panorama Suites, positioned on the top two decks, showcasing a full, 200-square feet of living space. This space comes complete with a large seating area adjacent to a Wall-to-Wall Panoramic Window. When opened, this floor-to-ceiling window is nearly 11' x 7', and transforms the entire Suite into the category's first Open-Air Balcony.
The Avalon Visionary and the Avalon Vista will join the Avalon family in 2012, with the same enhance cabins and ammenities as the Avalon Panorama.

To meet demand for exotic cruises, Avalon Waterways will unveil the NEW Avalon Angkor. The vessel features only 16 staterooms, and is the first- and only- passenger ship built to cruise all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap, exclusively eliminating seven hours of drive-time on land for travelers.

In 2012, Avalon Waterways is also enhancing its cruising experience in Egypt by chartering the MS Mayfair, a five-star ship that is one of the newest vessels on the Nile today and the MS Kasr Ibrim, a ship designed to evoke the elegant leisure of an early 20th Century cruise. Named after the ancient citadel, this deluxe ship sails Lake Nasser – a new waterway for Avalon.
